Young Teacher's Authority: Not Disobeyed!

The young teacher captivated all the students as she stood there, swaying the long pointer stick in her hand. She wore a black skirt and thigh-high black boots, with a matching blackboard behind her. We all knew that she would not hesitate to punish us if we misbehaved, and her reputation had preceded her.

Even the most restless student silenced and listened in anticipation. For those who thought they could get away with mischief, they quickly thought again. She had a strict zero-tolerance policy for any behavior that distracted her and her class from learning. Unsurprisingly, she commanded her students' attention, and her sense of authority left a lasting impression.

Because Who Said Biology Is Boring?

Ms. X, the biology teacher, must have been feeling super confident today! She was wearing a full-body suit that had a map of the human organ systems scattered across it. Her students were definitely amused by the sight. Some of them were even distracted.

It was very difficult to concentrate as this looked more like superhero cosplay than a school lesson. However, Ms. X was up for the challenge and kept the class in order. Here's a little fun fact though, a lot of students would like to go back to school just for the biology classes because it's always full of interesting, sometimes gross facts!

What A Teacher's Demeanor Can Do

Ms. Smith, the teacher in the sleek black dress, seemed to be arranging test materials around the room. Meanwhile, the students were all abuzz with excitement, fear, nerves, and a bit of dread. Exams can be quite stressful for students, as research has shown that stress levels can be higher than when dealing with family or romantic relationships.

Thankfully, everyone was watching Ms. Smith as she put down papers and made sure all the materials were ready for a successful exam. Although the stress was almost palpable in the room, her calm demeanor in her polished black dress made everyone hopeful that the exams would go as smoothly as she appeared!

Do You Fear Public Speaking Too?

The room was silent as the teacher, looking fabulous in a sleek green dress, stepped up to the podium to speak. She could feel the heightened attention of the students but as her confidence soared, the fear of public speaking began to melt away. The teacher found it ironic how so many people were afraid of public speaking even though it was estimated that 75% of the population had experienced this fear at least once.

Studies indicated that people were more scared of public speaking than death or spiders! The students could barely contain their excitement and the thought of a fear of public speaking flew easily out of their minds.

Guess We Never Stop Playing, Huh

The young teacher looked around the classroom and smiled. She knew that learning could be fun for the kids, and the number of toys and educational tools in this classroom meant that their minds could develop with the best possible resources. It was clear that play was an essential part of brain development, even if adults sometimes forgot.

Studies say it's important to children's cognitive growth and encourages creativity. A popular statistic is that children learn best through play, and this teacher was ready to take full advantage! With a deep breath, she turned to face the eager little faces as the best part of the job was about to begin.

Friendship Ever Secured

It was a sight to behold when the teacher showed up to school, pictorially equipped with a full-on stormtrooper headgear. Little did the students know that the beloved teacher was a die-hard "Star Wars" fan. As a result of scant information, many students were surprised, though some expected it since the teacher often showed off her quirky sense of humor.

The class was suddenly much more relaxed and excited when they witnessed the Stormtrooper-clad teacher walk in. The teacher used the iconic reference to inform the students of some interesting fun facts about the movie franchise, and a lesson about the power of imagination.

Hopefully, No One Is A Snake Among Them

Three teachers had a very unique idea when it came to their yearbook pictorial. They decided to make it look like they were all courageously holding a snake, even though in reality none of them wanted anything to do with the slithering reptiles. To make their vision a reality, they enlisted the help of a talented graphic designer, who worked his magic to add a realistic-looking snake into the photo.

Sneaks may not be a welcome guest at different colleges and universities but they're actually quite fascinating creatures. They can move at lightning speed, making them adept hunters and excellent escape artists.

What Poems Can Change

Cal Telfer is a bit of an odd one. He was recently hired, and his introduction was in the form of a poem. He said it was his "preferred method of communication." During his poem, Cal possessed a certain charm and flair where he highlighted all of his unique traits and qualities from his intelligence to his good looks.

As eccentric as it is, the poem he recited was far from traditional as he meshed it with rap, a nursery rhyme, and haikus: all in one. But it worked! It goes to show that poems come in all shapes and sizes.

A Unique Exam Offering

The student, sweating in the classroom, had no idea what the answer was to the teacher's latest question. In a moment of panic, his pencil leaped across the paper and drew a dolphin instead. The teacher chuckled, impressed by the skill of the artwork, and gave the student bonus points.

What this student didn't know, however, was that studies have revealed the importance of understanding teachers in a student's academic success. With the right kind of teacher, students are more likely to stay interested in their studies and take risks with their knowledge. Of course, this awesome teacher already knew that, and so generously awarded the student.

Teacher Is Unpleased

A teacher at a local high school recently made headlines for her creative approach to quizzes! Instead of the standard multiple-choice format, she used her favorite song lyrics as the choices. While more unconventional than the traditional quiz style, this multiple-choice method actually has some fantastic advantages.

For one, it increases memorization in an enjoyable and creative way. Music is more likely to be stuck in students' minds than an array of other facts and answers. In today's day and age, it's becoming increasingly difficult to capture the attention of younger generations. This was a clever way to facilitate learning in a way that was both enjoyable and instructive.

Gandalf Has The Last Command

This teacher sure lives up to his duty. When it came to this student's plagiarized report, he decided not to take any chances and made sure to mark the paper with an F. To add insult to injury, he topped it off by drawing the beloved Lord of the Rings character Gandalf with the famous 'You shall not pass' line.

Little fun fact about Gandalf, though, he did not exist in Tolkien's original book but was created later by director Peter Jackson. It seems as though this clever teacher was doing his homework, pun intended. Hopefully, this student learned from the experience and did not make the same mistake again.

When Shush Is Not Enough To Keep Them Quiet

The local newspaper recently featured an innovative teacher who managed to get her students' attention in an unusual way. She warned that if they didn't get quiet, she would spoil all their favorite episodes of Game of Thrones. Needless to say, this threat worked like a charm! It was an impressive show of disciplinary authority and the kids got quiet instantly.

It is no wonder why this show was able to gain such a following. First released in 2011, there are now 83 episodes in the series. It was also estimated that over one million viewers watched the series finale, making it one of the most popular shows in television history.

Gandalf Haunting Us Til Today

A teacher once gave a student a permit pass, much to the joy of the student. It was a remarkable decision made by the teacher, as well as a surprisingly bold move. Reminding everyone of this famous figure, the teacher concluded the situation by saying, "you may pass, like Gandalf."

Gandalf, for those unfamiliar, is a character from the popular fantasy series Lord of the Rings. He is a powerful wizard who is often the one to lead others on magical journeys and momentous battles. Although Gandalf is immortal, he often puts himself in danger to protect the ones he loves.

When Handwriting Is Not An Issue

The student had just finished her essay paper and the teacher wrote "I'm too old to see this, what grade do you want?" It was true the student had written in quite small handwriting, but she didn't just expect such a response.

Even though it may have been hard to read, research shows small handwriting, compared to larger ones, requires less movement, which means it saves time and it's also better for one's physical health. However, the student was still quite surprised at the teacher's reaction to her hard work. She planned to take it as a cue to work a little bit bigger next time.

Wrong Profession, Who Knows?

Behind this is a great teacher. He was always prepared and attentive to each and every student in his classroom. Not only did he help those who were struggling, but he also had a special talent. He was always prepared with a few extra pencils just in case any student forget to bring their own supplies.

He had his own little Justine Bieber fan club in there, too! He even had a few fun Justin facts up his sleeve to share with the class when they needed a break from homework. All of this meant any student who had forgotten their supplies never had to worry.

It's The Thought That Matters

The teacher had the best intentions as she wanted to draw a hammer on the student's test papers to congratulate them on nailing the exam. Unfortunately, the teacher was no artist, and the "hammer" ended up in mere words of appreciation. It was still a kind gesture though!

Speaking of, did you know that in some countries, teachers are required to have talents beyond grading tests? For example, in the US, some states require teachers to have basic first aid training. Who knew?! So, overall, the student got a long explanation, but at least their teacher was qualified to help them in an emergency.

When Life Gets Too Chaotic

It's no secret that teachers are encouraging people and try to give their students every opportunity to succeed. But this one teacher found a creative way of recharging herself. She decided to disguise herself as a craft for a day, and nobody knew it was her! She wanted to take a break from the chaos of her job but also didn't want to turn away visitors who might come to her school. Clever thinking, huh?

Despite her crafty appearance, this teacher's encouraging nature still didn't waiver. She continued to keep students motivated and offered personalized advice and guidance when necessary, all while wearing an oversized craft costume.

Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas

The math teacher was teaching his students about a particular mathematical equation, only he was wearing a Santa hat and it was close to Christmas. He had always wanted to inject some holiday cheer into his math classes and this was his way of doing it. He was tapping away on the calculator as the students watched, and when the result was revealed, it didn't make sense to the class!

It said "Merry X-Mas" instead of the expected numbers. X-Mas from the Middle Ages was actually an abbreviation for the Greek letter "Chi," which was also the first letter in the word "Christos," which is Greek for "Christ."

Might Just Be The Energy Zen We Need

A young teacher in a black dress was standing at her desk, cleaning it off in preparation for the day. She had the look of one ready to do her job, but she came off as more than just a teacher. It wasn't just the look; she had a light in her eye as if she was excited for the day- a rarity among many young teachers.

Despite the workload, she seemed to be embracing it; research shows that younger teachers can often bring much-needed energy to a classroom. With her willingness to try new things and enthusiasm, this young teacher in a black dress was ready to inspire her students!

He Knew IDs Take Time To Get Replaced

Brian Dennert may just be the talk of the town. The Royal High School instructor was recently photographed in full costume as the iconic Princess Leia. An added bonus? He had a blaster at hand to complete the picture that will appear on his ID. In fact, the entire student body was invited to join in on the fun and wear a costume of their choice for their school IDs.

Even the school principal got in on the fun, dressing up as Indiana Jones for his ID shot. Seems like Brian has taken school ID photos a day to a whole new level of fun.

Give Her Some Bonus Pay!

The teacher was quite technologically savvy, so she came up with a unique solution when she couldn't attend class in person: she took a photo of herself and asked her students to project it on the large screen so everyone could still see her.

Although it seemed a bit strange, it was strangely comforting for the students to have their teacher still present amongst them and they began to appreciate it. After all, having a friendly teacher is key to the success of any learning experience. Plus, it can make the whole class more relaxed and even more eager to learn!

Science And Spice: Humor!

Students were stumped when their teacher handed out a homework assignment that task them to label the different parts of the skeleton with the phrase "label me like one of your french girls" in bright bold print. Little did they know, this was their teacher's way of injecting some humor and fun into the lesson.

Having some levity in the classroom is important for students to stay engaged and ensure that the lesson sticks. Not to mention, humor also creates a sense of trust and camaraderie between students and teachers. Hence, the students had a good chuckle at the homework assignment and dove into the task with renewed enthusiasm and focus.

Who Knew Star Wars Trained Them For Microbiology Lectures?

This teacher sure knows how to dress for class. Microbiology students couldn't believe their eyes as there in the middle of the lab was their teacher, dressed up as Darth Vader! Everyone cracked up, knowing that Mr. Johnson was an unapologetic Star Wars fan.

He started the class by pointing out the accuracy of his costume, noting the detailed stitching on his cape and replica blaster. Things got even funnier when he unveiled the lightsaber attached to his belt and started lecturing on the fundamentals of microbiology. Little did they know, Darth Vader was a skilled pilot, masterful engineer, and precise strategist: all important skills to have in the lab.

Not To Pressure, But Are You?

The teacher gave the dreaded signal. Students rush to their desks to begin the exam. Before they do, the teacher calmly wrote on a piece of paper, "Time is passing, are you?" The students all look up in confusion you could practically feel the silence in the classroom, plus the awkward vibe wrapped with anxiety.

The pressure of passing was high enough that some of the students started sweating profusely. Others were looking lost and overwhelmed, trying to remember the lessons they learned in the past months. In a way, the teacher was trying to remind the students to stay focused, and that their hard work will pay off soon.

Hopefully This Was The Last Time He Received This

The teacher was beaming with pride as she presented the award and certificate to her student, for most homework go missing. When the student opened it, he couldn't help but laugh at the title. The teacher just smiled and said there were plenty of reasons why homework go missing, and the Bermuda Triangle was the most interesting.

Did you know that the Bermuda Triangle has earned its title because of the mysterious disappearances of ships and planes? It's said that these cases remain unsolved due to unusual magnetic forces and unpredictable weather. But the student only had one thought in his head when he received his award: always do your homework!

Lady Gaga: A Chemistry Icon Now?

The class presentation on the periodic table of elements was amusing! Every element had been replaced with a lyric from Lady Gaga's song, Bad Romance. It was accompanied by a haunting melody that was surprisingly reminiscent of the original. As the students presented, it was clear that chemistry was an integral part of the pop hit.

Did you know there are 118 elements on the periodic table? Or that a new element, recently added to the periodic table is 'Oganesson,' atomic number 118? Turns out Lady Gaga did! It was clear and entertaining to see the lyrics from her song fitting right in with the scientific elements.

Oh, You Love Vintage?

A teacher was seen wearing a traditional military uniform that made him look like something out of history books. Wearing the uniform was certainly fitting because its inspiring look is steeped in centuries of military history. As such, this teacher may have been the very embodiment of historical books coming to life!

The traditional military uniform worn by the teacher dates back to at least the 19th century and featured a lot of classic pieces like a dress jacket with brass buttons, epaulets, and breeches. While the teacher was wearing utilitarian silver buttons on his uniform instead of brass, he still managed to pull off a classic vintage look!

Physics Can Be Mind-Boggling But Fun Too!

The teacher was trying her best to help her student with her physics homework, but she could tell the student wasn't thrilled. The teacher called out facts about physics to enlighten her student to no avail. "Did you know that light moves 300,000 km per second?" she asked, tapping her fingers on the desk. "Also, did you know that the equation E=mc2 shows how energy and mass are related?"

She smiled but the student's expression stayed the same. Finally, the teacher threw in some fun facts, "Hey, did you know that the universe is 13.8 billion years old?" The student shook her head, but there was a hint of a smile forming.

Must Have Been A Taste Of Pain

Oh my! This teacher really had a strange sense of amusement in his class. He kept a water bottle with the label "students’ tears" and when things became a bit too stressful, he was known to take a few swigs from it. Who knows what was actually in that bottle? Probably just water, but the idea of it was enough to make his students uncomfortable.

Did you know that tears are composed of proteins, minerals, hormones, and other substances? Human tears can be either emotional or reflexive like when you cut an onion. It also has powerful healing properties. Guess this teacher thought he was doing his students a favor with his bottle of 'tears' in the classroom.

This Is Worth Your Yearbook Solicitation

It was a sight to behold! All three teachers, Jack, Joshua, and Kimberly, had matching seawater outfits for their yearbook pictorial. They each had a smile from ear to ear, as they struck their poses right there in front of the camera. It was yet another way of celebrating the tradition of having a yearbook in school: a collective physical souvenir of shared memories.

Of course, as most students know, there can always be problems with yearbooks. Themes can be controversial sometimes, and the social structure of who gets voted on what page can be confusing. But hey, at least this year everyone can agree that the teachers looked great.

Bill Cosby's Comedic Appeal Lives Forever

Instead of using abstract terms to explain complex concepts, this trigonometry teacher used Bill Cosby as a reference.  They frequently referred to a popular standup performance by the comedian when trying to explain how sin is merely the opposite of hypotenuse. They even got the class to laugh when they joked about how sin couldn't be the same as Bill Cosby's pudding pops because those were simply "too sweet."

It's safe to say that this teacher was quite creative in using the multi-talented comedian to make math fun and entertaining. With this approach, their students could easily understand and remember trigonometry.  Who says math can't have a comedic twist?

Binge-Watching Star Wars Gave The Teacher Some Benefits

Our physics teacher is a total Star Wars enthusiast! He loves using Star Wars references to explain concepts, especially acceleration. Every time he talks about acceleration, he goes off on tangents about light sabers and Jedi and draws surprisingly accurate pictures of Star Wars characters next to the equations.

Light sabers are real and a variation of this weapon already exists; it was invented by a physicist from UCLA. Even more impressive, the speed of the Millenium Falcon is actually much slower than the speed of light, which travels at an average of 670 million miles per hour. Needless to say, our physics teacher has made learning about acceleration a lot more fun!

You Don't Want To Unleash His Action-Star Moves

Anyone who passes by the school office will surely get a laugh out of their latest and simple warning, boldly posted outside their door: "Walkens not accepted." It has the unmistakable face of the actor Christopher Walken with his stern expression.

From his versatile film roles to his signature line readings and accent, it's no wonder his face has become an icon. Did you know he even did his own stunts in the western "The Dead Zone?" Or that he's hosted "Saturday Night Live" seven times? His body of work is huge, so it's no surprise that Walkens has become a bit of an internet meme, even in our beloved school office!

History Class Can Provide Laughter Too

The history teacher was not thrilled when he saw that one of his students had dozed off. He wanted to prove a point, so he walked right up to the student, and, much to the student's surprise, the teacher softly knelt down and tied his shoelaces together. Across the room, some of the students quietly chuckled, knowing the poor boy was in deep trouble now.

The majority of people don't particularly love history, but the laughter in the classroom showed that even when it comes to history, a little bit of humor can go a long way. That teacher also sure gave a whole new meaning to "history repeating itself."

Wasps Starting Some Drama

The teacher's quick thinking shocked the entire class as they watched him set fire to kill a wasp that had just flown inside the classroom. He must have learned throughout the years that wasps are attracted to sweet smells, sugary food products, and the warmth of indoors during the colder weather.

Apparently, it was enough to lure one of the persistent critters right into the middle of her classroom. After the shock of an open flame, there were peals of laughter when the wasp got its just dessert from the teacher's unconventional response, and the students learned that in some cases, fire can literally be the best form of defense.

How Many Awards Until EGOT?

Teachers are supportive mentors, and encouraging students to admit mistakes is no exception. Developed by a clever teacher, a hall of fame was created to have students write down their admissions of not doing their homework. Students would then go get their handwritten admission photographed and printed, creating a "hall of fame" that displayed their admissions.

Not only does this promote the idea of being honest and admitting one's mistakes to strive for better quality work, but it also serves as a source of motivation and lighthearted amusement. This not only reminds students that it's okay to make mistakes but also encourages them to think about how they can improve.

What An Honor, To Be Wallpaper-ed

This is a situation at a local school where three teachers confiscated a student's phone. When they finally returned the phone to the student, the wallpaper on the display was a photo of all three teachers in the most hilarious expressions imaginable!

Apparently, the student had refused to stop texting during class, and the teachers had to take serious measures. Word quickly spread the story, and it didn't take long for students to find out that for every phone confiscation, the teachers made it their rule of thumb to change the student's wallpaper. Little did they know, the laughing photo of the teachers would soon be the wallpaper of many.

At Least They Can Sleep?

Taking up a challenge like mastering kung fu or switching religions for a day can seem like a funny and impossible task. But if students can take a relaxed approach to these assignments, they may actually find it quite rewarding.

For example, learning kung fu can help improve physical fitness, balance, and strength, while switching religions might expose them to different spiritual practices. There's even a chance that these student experimenters might find that their current religious beliefs are enhanced by the process. When approaching these 'funny but impossible' assignments, students should remember to keep an open mind and draw on facts and experiences to inform them. We should surprise themselves!

The Watchtower: Exams Edition

The teacher was perched atop a tall chair, surveying the entire classroom from his high vantage point. He watched with eagle-eyed precision as his students took their exams. Every so often he saw a student's head dip to the side as if there were some sort of signal the student was receiving from another desk.

Did you know students are more likely to cheat in schools with higher levels of competition? It seems that when the pressure is on, some students turn to any available means to stay ahead. Luckily, with this teacher in charge, that won't be happening, at least not on his watch!
